I do not support JK Rowling in ANY aspects, but maybe they fix all this problems in the tv show, maybe they dont. But the truest childish behavior is shaming readers that like the story and feel confortable, estimulated with creativity, and embraced with magic.
Harry Potter had a HUGE impact in my life, and i do have the conscience that the autor sucks, but nothing in life is black and white, nothing in life is that simple.
Lets not forget that the developers of hogwarts legacy (for example) made the universe with more representativity and had a trans character and thats HUGE.
The autor sucks, but the narrative is magical and successful and maybe the producers of the show will fix all the problems.
I hope they do, liking harry potter doesn’t make people good or bad, what we do and believe in our personal life is what matters.

Cuba is genuinely such an inspiring and beautiful country. It’s not just that its people passed a referendum to legalize gay marriage and adoption, but that it came after a year of consultation and modifications by Cuban citizens and activists which made it go way beyond just gay marriage to being one of the most progressive family laws in the world, and was itself enabled by Cuba’s 2019 constitutional referendum which was also voted on by its citizens. Cuba is in lockstep with its people and that is why its revolution persists even after 60+ years of sanctions, invasions, and destabilizations by the US empire.
